Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a Caregiver to support residents in daily life per their care plans. You will report to the Health & Wellness Director and assist with personal care, meals, hygiene, and activities in a respectful, dignified manner.

The role requires CNA or CHHA certification, experience with elderly populations, and a willingness to work nights or days depending on the schedule. Full-time nights and part-time days are available with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide.
• Experience working with elderly populations; dementia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per the care plan, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Maintain safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of residents.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Ensure residents are clean, neatly dressed, safe and fed during shifts.
• Document services provided during each shift.
• Report changes in resident condition to supervisor immediately.

Compensation

Hourly: $22.00

Job Overview

Assists residents in all aspects of their daily life: personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide resident care per the care plan, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
• Maintain the safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of all residents.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Ensure all assigned residents are clean, neatly dressed and groomed, safe, and fed during shifts.
• Document all services provided to assigned residents during each shift.
• Report any change in a resident’s condition to the supervisor immediately.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aid.
• Knowledge and experience working with the elderly population; dementia experience preferred.

Physical Abilities

• Require standing, walking, sitting, and use of motor skills; ability to reach, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.
• Must lift or carry up to 50 lbs and use proper body mechanics during tasks.
