Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Simi Valley is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities and independence.

You will follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP), assist with ADLs, promote safety and dignity, and engage residents through conversation and activities. You’ll also support dining services and communicate with families and care leaders, including memory care residents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 18+ years old.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain) is required.
• Demonstrates compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility and personal care.
• Follow Individualized Service Plans (ISP) and document changes.
• Promote safety, dignity, and independence for residents.
• Engage residents through conversation and daily activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care leaders.
• In Memory Care, create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.
