Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a caring caregiver in Metairie, LA to provide hands-on support with daily living activities and memory care. You will follow individualized service plans, document changes, promote safety and dignity, and engage residents with meaningful activities.

There is an hourly pay range of $15.05 to $18.90, with benefits incl. medical/dental/vision, retirement plans, PTO, and options for immediate pay.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, age 18+.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care and daily routines.
• Follow care plans and document changes accurately.
• Support residents’ safety, dignity, and independence.
• Engage residents through conversation and activities.
• Support dining services and maintain a clean environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and care teams.
• In Memory Care, facilitate enriching activities for residents with memory challenges.

Job description

As a Caregiver, you will provide hands-on support to seniors, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and personal care.

You will follow individualized service plans (ISP), document resident changes, and promote safety, dignity, and independence.

Engaging residents through conversation and daily activities is essential, along with supporting dining services and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.

In Memory Care, you will create enriching experiences for residents with memory loss.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED, age 18+
