Job summary

Optum Insight in Boulder, CO is seeking a Care Management Assistant to join our onsite team. The CMA provides clerical and administrative support to the Care Management Team, handling post-acute care coordination, authorizations, and payer communications while maintaining confidential patient records.

This full-time role runs Sunday to Thursday with an 8:00am–5:00pm schedule and occasional overtime. We offer on-the-job training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• Experience in healthcare or medical insurance industry preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Ability to work onsite in Boulder, CO and to cover Sunday-Thursday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide clerical, secretarial and administrative support for the Care Management Team.
• Handle post-acute care coordination and payer communications; manage records.
• Maintain confidential patient information and ensure compliant records and communications.
• Schedule, fax, audit, transcribe, file, deliver and track department documents.
