Job summary

Sandstone Care in Boulder, CO is seeking a Prep Cook / Delivery Driver to support our food service team in a treatment-center setting. You will assist with meal prep, transport meals to multiple locations, and uphold food safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 1-2 years in food prep, a valid drivere2 license, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. This full-time, hourly role offers competitive pay and benefits, with schedule variability to meet program needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; culinary training or certification is a plus.
• 1-2 years of experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations.
• Valid driver license with clean MVR; knowledge of food safety standards and nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation & Cooking: assist in preparing and cooking meals per menu plans and safety standards.
• Meal Transportation & Delivery: safely transport meals to various Sandstone Care locations maintaining quality.
• Kitchen Operations & Inventory: keep area clean, organize supplies, assist with ordering.
• Food Safety & Compliance: ensure handling, storage and sanitation per health regs; participate in training.
• Administrative tasks: maintain records like meal counts, inventory logs, and vehicle mileage.
