Job summary

TMG is seeking a detail-oriented individual to support the Quality and Training department in closing Care Gaps for patients. The role involves using EMR systems and payer portals to identify gaps, scheduling services, and submitting required documentation.

Candidates should have an Associate degree or 2 years of college, with 3 years of related experience. Strong organization, customer service, and proficiency in Word/Excel are essential, along with confidentiality and independent work

Qualifications

• Education: Associate Degree or 2 years of college coursework.
• Experience: Three years of related experience. Requires working knowledge of specialized practices, equipment, and procedures.
• Licenses and Certifications: NONE REQUIRED.
• Must possess strong organization and time management skills.
• Must be detail oriented and have the ability to work independently.
• Must possess strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of electronic medical record preferred.
• Ability to read and write legibly.
• Proficient use of computer equipment and software such as Word and Excel.
• Pleasant professional demeanor when dealing with the public with stressful and sensitive issues.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• One year of previous clerical experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify Care Gaps using EMR and payer portals.
• Schedule patients for services to close gaps.
• Submit necessary documentation to close Care Gaps.
• Coordinate with data abstractors and Trainers to ensure gaps are closed.
