Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs at New Castle Nursing & Rehab and Twin Oaks Assisted Living.
• Assist with plumbing repairs, painting, patching, basic carpentry, and routine upkeep.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical and equipment repairs within training and scope.
• Notify Maintenance Director when specialized assistance is needed.
• Use electronic maintenance system to track work orders and records.
• Help organize computer-based records, inspection documentation, and schedules.
• Support survey readiness through routine checks and timely corrective work.
• Prepare resident rooms and common areas, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Communicate maintenance progress and issues clearly to residents and staff.
• Follow safety and infection prevention procedures and keep areas organized.
• Respond to residents and staff with patience and care while minimizing disruption.
