Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to help maintain clean linens and clothing for residents in a long-term care facility. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute items and operate laundry equipment safely.

You will interact with residents and staff, follow infection control policies, and report maintenance or safety issues. High school diploma preferred; prior laundry experience is welcome but not required; lifting up to 50 pounds is required; residency in the

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required.
• Maintain a positive attitude and communicate effectively with residents, staff, and leadership.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies may be required.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work around cleaning products.

Responsibilities

• Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
