Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc. is seeking a Laundry Worker to maintain the cleanliness and availability of linens and garments in a long-term care facility. You will contribute to a welcoming, sanitary environment and support residents and staff daily.

You will operate laundry equipment safely, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute items, and keep simple records while adhering to infection control policies. A positive attitude and reliable teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous laundry experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work around cleaning products.
• Residency within the service area required.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records of laundry activities and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions policies to ensure a sanitary environment.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
