Valley Manor Care Center in Montrose, CO is seeking a part-time, on-site Housekeeper to join our compassionate team. This PRN role offers a paid opportunity to contribute to a caring healthcare setting, with pay range $18.62–$21.03 per hour based on experience and a schedule that includes on-call/casual responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Previous institutional housekeeping/cleaning experience.
• Ability to understand and follow procedures, work assignments, instructions, warnings and labels.
• Adequate strength, endurance and coordination to meet physical demands (dusting, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing).
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.

Responsabilités

• The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all facility areas.
• Performs defined cleaning procedures, using various chemicals and cleaning agents, supplies and equipment.
• Replenishes paper products, hand soap products and wastebasket liners as needed during routine cleaning procedures.
• Maintains housekeeping cart and utility closets in sanitary and orderly condition.
• Attends required in-services and completes assigned online modules.
• Performs other duties or special assignments as directed by the Environmental Services Director.
