Valley Manor Care Center in Montrose, CO is seeking a Housekeeper for a PRN, on-call role. The position offers a pay range of $18.62-$21.03 per hour and is part-time by nature, with duties centered on maintaining a clean and welcoming healthcare environment.

The role requires caring, responsible teamwork and the ability to follow procedures, with opportunities for growth within Volunteers of America National Services. Strong English skills and basic computer use for timekeeping are preferred.

Qualificações

• Institutional housekeeping/cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow procedures, work assignments, instructions, warnings and labels.
• Adequate strength, endurance and coordination for cleaning tasks (dusting, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing).
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Ensures cleanliness of all facility areas.
• Performs defined cleaning procedures using chemicals and cleaning agents, supplies and equipment.
• Replenishes paper products, hand soap, and wastebasket liners as needed.
• Maintains housekeeping cart and utility closets in sanitary and orderly condition.
• Attends required in-services and completes online modules.
• Performs other duties as directed by the Environmental Services Director.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Previous institutional housekeeping/cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow procedures, work assignments, instructions, warnings and labels.
• Adequate strength, endurance and coordination to meet the strenuous physical demands of such responsibilities as dusting, mopping, vacuuming and scrubbing.
• Ability to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all facility areas.

• Performs defined cleaning procedures, using various chemicals and cleaning agents, supplies and equipment.

• Maintains housekeeping cart and utility closets in sanitary and orderly condition.
• Attends required in-services and completes assigned online modules.
• Performs other duties or special assignments as directed by the Environmental Services Director.
