Job summary

OhioHealth Dublin Methodist Hospital is hiring Environmental Service Associates for part-time day shifts. You will clean patient rooms, public areas and service spaces, and provide friendly customer service to patients and staff while following hospital procedures.

Qualifications

• Individuals aged 16 – 18 without a high school diploma or GED with a valid work permit may be considered.
• Ability to demonstrate skill in reading and following directions.
• Must demonstrate customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtains assigned cleaning or maintenance request from automated system, daily assignment sheet or verbal direction.
• Performs other duties as assigned, which could include moving beds or furniture to service customers or perform cleaning.
• Follows department/organizational processes and completes paperwork to monitor statistics.
• Notifies appropriate area through work order process and paperwork to maintain equipment and supplies.
• Keeps all carts and areas stocked at appropriate levels; linen distribution included.
• Willing to complete other duties to meet hospital cleanliness and safety standards.
• Maintains a high level of customer service throughout the OhioHealth organization.
