Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking Environmental Service Associates to perform cleaning and maintenance across patient rooms, public areas, and service zones. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and excellent customer service within a hospital environment.

The position is an evening schedule (2pm–7pm) with weekends as needed, and includes tasks such as stocking carts, following equipment protocols, and contributing to departmental statistics.

Qualifications

• No degree or diploma required.
• Able to provide courtesy and effective service to patients and other customers.
• Willingness to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Obtain assigned cleaning or maintenance requests from system or sheets and perform duties.
• Follow proper usage of cleaning equipment and report any issues through established processes.
• Stock all carts and areas with linens and supplies as needed.
• Be willing to perform other duties including storeroom maintenance to meet hospital standards.
• Provide high levels of customer service to patients and staff as part of a High Reliability Organization (HRO).
