Gardens of Westbrooke is seeking a Dietary Aide to support dietary operations in accordance with established policies. You will collaborate with the facility dietician, ensure procedures are followed, and assist in food preparation and special meals.

The role requires reading, writing, and speaking English, with no prior experience required and on-the-job training provided. The position emphasizes respect for residents and teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 12th grade education or equivalent.
• No experience required; on the job training provided.
• Must possess and maintain an “Eligible” ACHA Background Screening status.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dietary functions as instructed and according to established policies.
• Work with the facility's dietician to implement recommended changes.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information.
• Wear protective clothing when handling infectious waste.
• Report missing or illegible labels and MSDSs to your supervisor.
• Assist in food preparation for special meals and events.
• Assist in inventorying and storing incoming food and supplies as necessary.
