Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent.
• Scheduling experience is preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Resourceful, tactful, and proactive in addressing issues.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedules for CNAs and Nurses (RNs and LPNs)
• Complete holiday and weekend schedules for the nursing staff
• Assist in ensuring missed punch forms are completed
• Maintain absence log for nursing staff
• Promote equity and fairness in the scheduling process
• Assist in reducing overtime with the DON/ADON and HR Director
• Assist in hiring new CNAs and Nurses as needed, communicating with the DON/ADON and HR Director
• Maintain accurate time records for the nursing department, monitor attendance (Call-Offs, Tardies, No Call, No Shows)
• Other duties as assigned
