Care Initiatives is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to join our maintenance team across more than 40 skilled nursing communities throughout Iowa. You will perform routine maintenance and repairs to keep facilities safe, clean, and comfortable for residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Complete routine maintenance and repairs to keep the facility safe, clean, and comfortable.
• Monitor and maintain building systems, including heating, cooling, and equipment.
• Maintain outdoor areas, walkways, and grounds, including snow/ice removal as needed.
• Assist with heavy cleaning, floor care, and facility upkeep when needed.
• Follow safety policies and support inspections and preventative maintenance.
