Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an Environmental Service Technician to clean, disinfect, and stock patient rooms, offices, and ancillary areas, ensuring high standards of hygiene. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience in public service or customer service in hotel, hospital, environmental services, or janitorial work required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, and stock patient rooms, offices and ancillary areas according to procedures.
• Remove and dispose of linens and waste streams.
• Maintain floors, carpets and upholstery as prescribed.
• Assemble, maintain and store equipment and supplies needed for tasks.
• Communicate and collaborate with team to ensure continuity of service.
• Assist visitors and employees in navigating the hospital.
• Fully functioning in two or more areas of responsibility.
• May work across department sites for coverage as needed.
