Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking an Environmental Service Technician to clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices, and common areas while removing linens and waste and maintaining flooring and upholstery. You will work closely with other team members to ensure consistent, high-quality service and patient environments.

No experience is required; you will be fully trained and supported as you grow your career within our environmental services team at Lakeland Hospital Niles.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a healthcare, hotel, or service setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration with team members to ensure continuity of service.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, offices and ancillary areas per procedures.
• Remove linens and waste, stock patient areas.
• Maintain floors, carpets and upholstery per standards.
• Assist visitors and staff and help navigate hospital spaces.
• May work across department sites for coverage as needed.
