Alsana is a national leader in eating disorder treatment, offering a holistic, soul-hearted approach to recovery for adults and adolescents of all genders. The Care Counselor will support clients throughout their recovery journey, working with therapists, dietitians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to maintain a safe and compassionate environment.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, crisis support, and meal supervision within a structured residential/clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
• Behavioral health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support client safety, emotional well-being, and daily recovery-focused care.
• Monitor client progress, behavioral observations, and documentation while communicating changes to the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide 1:1 support and assist clients during moments of distress or crisis.
• Support meal and snack supervision as part of recovery-focused treatment.
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive healing environment.
• Transport clients to approved appointments or outings as needed.

Starting Pay: $23 - $24/hour, plus shift differentials

Schedule: Monday / Tuesday / Friday 11am - 7:30pm, Sunday 7:30am 4pm.

As a Care Counselor, you’ll play an integral role in supporting clients throughout their recovery journey while working alongside therapists, dietitians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to create a safe, compassionate, recovery-focused environment.
