Job summary

Alsana is a national leader in eating disorder treatment, offering a holistic, soul-hearted approach to recovery for adults and adolescents of all genders. As a Care Counselor, you’ll support clients on their recovery journey, collaborating with therapists, dietitians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams in a safe, compassionate environment.

This role features Friday through Tuesday, 2:30pm–11pm shifts with starting pay $23–$24 per hour plus shift differentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
• Behavioral health experience preferred.
• Current CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)

Responsibilities

• Support client safety, emotional well-being, and daily recovery-focused care
• Monitor client progress, behavioral observations, and documentation while communicating changes to the interdisciplinary care team
• Provide 1:1 support and assist clients during moments of distress or crisis
• Support meal and snack supervision as part of recovery-focused treatment
• Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive healing environment
• Transport clients to approved appointments or outings as needed

As a Care Counselor, you’ll play an integral role in supporting clients throughout their recovery journey while working alongside therapists, dietitians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to create a safe, compassionate, recovery-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
