Job description

Immediate need for a talented Care Coordinator II. This is a 5+ Months Contract to Hire opportunity with long-term potential, located remotely in the U.S. Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if interested.

Pay Range : $21 - $22 / hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support pediatrics as part of the team.
  • Work with the Concierge team to assist caregivers and parents.
  • Handle calls from parents and caregivers experiencing issues such as nurse call-offs, medication refills, or delayed medical supplies.
  • Collaborate with caregivers/parents to resolve issues based on call information.
  • This role is not a call center position.
  • No current performance metrics are specified.
  • Support a small population of 800-1000 members.
  • Handle calls based on volume, focusing on delivering quality care.
  • Provide White Glove Service, with evaluation based on customer service, not call volume.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience :

  • Key Skills: Medical Office, Customer Service, Claims processing.
  • 2-3 years of experience in managed care, medical office, or healthcare facility, demonstrating medical administration duties.
  • Knowledge of customer service, utilization review, or claims processing in a managed care environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in call centers, healthcare customer service, front desk/receptionist roles within healthcare settings.
  • Medical Terminology knowledge.
  • High School diploma or GED required.
