Job summary

Healthfirst is seeking a Support Coordinator to assist care/case managers with non-clinical duties, including case creation, authorizations, member outreach, and provider communications. • Prior experience in a customer service environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Fast-paced environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service to members and providers relating to authorizations and care coordination.
• Handles calls with providers regarding authorizations, referrals, visits, tests, and care plans.
• Manages requests from members and providers for initial authorizations and updates.
• Completes member and provider notification calls and documents accurately.
