Job summary

Landmark Physician Office Services, affiliated with Landmark Medical Center, seeks a Referral Coordinator to join our team. You will act as a liaison between insurance, providers, and clinics to ensure referrals are processed accurately for specialty visits and scheduled efficiently for patients.

Responsibilities include communicating with clinics and patients, and reviewing data to report medical necessity to insurers. Prior clinic experience and EMR familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-year experience in a clinic work environment preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Knowledge of Electronic Medical Systems.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between insurance, healthcare providers and the clinic to ensure referrals processed correctly.
• Schedule referrals for patients at the request of providers and staff.
• Communicate with clinics, referred clinics and patients; review clinical data to report medical necessity to insurance companies.
