Job summary

Telecare is seeking a Care Connection Center associate to handle incoming calls, document tasks, and escalate as needed. You will support communication among care teams, field staff, physicians, and families while maintaining data integrity.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in medical terminology or call centers, strong communication, and solid computer/typing skills. Weekend/holiday work may be required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two+ years related experience in medical terminology or call center environments.
• Ability to meet goals in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to build relationships.
• Proficient computer skills and typing (50 WPM).
• Weekend and holiday availability may be required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process calls systematically following scripts, policies, and procedures.
• Screen and escalate calls as needed; document tasks per standards.
• Ensure accurate VX documentation to maintain data integrity.
• Facilitate communication between care teams, field staff, physicians, and families.
• Resolve customer service issues with first-call resolution when possible; escalate when needed.
• Assist in training new hires as needed.
