Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; compact licenses must transfer within 60 days.
• RNs with less than 12 months experience must obtain their BSN within four years of hire.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• BSN is preferred and will be verified.

Responsibilities

• Assess: Performs appropriate assessment of physical, social, and psychological status and collates information from the health care team.
• Plan: Develops individualized care plans with patient/family involvement and coordinates education and follow-up as needed.
• Implement: Directs the interdisciplinary care team, prioritizes tasks, and manages time, supplies, and resources.
• Evaluate: Reviews outcomes and revises the care plan as indicated.
• Promote professionalism: Maintains ethics, compliant documentation, and licensure standards.
