Job summary

Intermountain Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver, Colorado. The staff RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, evidence-based practices, and collaboration with the health care team.

The role requires current RN licensure, a BSN preferred/required per policy, BLS certification, and a commitment to high-quality patient care; scheduled weekly hours are 36 with an hourly wage range of $37.45 to $57.29.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice. Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment.
• RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four (4) years of their hire date.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, social, and psychological status and gather information from the care team.
• Develop an individualized plan of care with patient and family involvement.
• Coordinate and delegate care to the interdisciplinary team to execute the plan.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust the care plan as needed.
• Promote professionalism, document accurately, and adhere to licensure and ethical standards.
