Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation seeks compassionate aides to assist residents in the Assisted Living Program with daily activities, medication reminders, grooming, bathing, dressing, and mobility support.

You will document daily logs, report concerns to supervisors, and help maintain residents' dignity and independence while delivering warm, respectful care across all shifts.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• English proficiency sufficient for duties and emergencies.
• CNA or CHHA license may be required depending on state.
• Basic computer skills are needed.
• Compassionate, professional and team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility).
• Provide medication reminders and escort services as needed.
• Follow supervisor's schedule and document daily logs.
• Offer emotional and social support to residents and maintain dignity.
• Report any resident concerns to the supervisor and collaborate with team.

In this role you will be responsible for providing assistance to residents in the Assisted Living Program with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.

Job Description

• All shifts available (6:30am-3:00pm, 2:30pm-11:00pm, 10:30pm-7:00am)
• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.

Qualifications

• You have at least oneyearof experience working in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.
• You may need to have a CNA or CHHA license depending on the state.
• You have basic computer skills.
• You are compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• You have the ability to work as a part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in high stress situations.
• You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.
