Job summary

Senior Lifestyle in Cincinnati is seeking caregivers to assist residents in the Assisted Living Program with daily living activities, bathing, dressing, and mobility while maintaining dignity and privacy.

You will follow supervisor schedules, provide emotional support, and document daily notes. The role requires teamwork, compassion, and the ability to handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently in a home-like setting.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform duties and communicate with staff.
• Possession of CNA or CHHA license depending on state.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escorting and activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident needs as set by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage independence and dignity of residents.
• Maintain resident confidentiality.

• Provide assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Follow the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily log of assistance.
• Inform supervisor of any resident issues or concerns.
• Respect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents.
• Respect residents’ confidentiality.

Qualifications

• You have at least one year of experience working in senior care.
• Acceptable proficiency in English to perform job duties, communicate with supervisor and other employees, and respond and communicate to emergency situations.
• You may need to have a CNA or CHHA license depending on the state.
• You have basic computer skills.
• You are compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic and helpful.
• You have the ability to work as a part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and efficiently.
• You possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• You have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in high stress situations.
• You can maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward the residents and your co-workers.
