Beaumont Health Care in the Highlands region is seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to provide compassionate personal care to residents. You will support daily activities such as washing, dressing, eating and personal hygiene, while adapting communication to individual needs.

No prior experience is required as full training and development are provided to help you succeed in this caring role.

Qualifications

• Experience in care is beneficial but not required.
• Willingness to learn and develop through training.
• Able to work as part of a team and adapt to shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Delivering quality personal care to residents, assisting with washing, dressing, eating and hygiene.
• Understanding residents' communication needs and adapting communication accordingly.
• Collaborating with the team to provide consistent care in a changing environment.
• Maintaining a positive, patient and supportive attitude with residents and families.
• Participating in training and development programs offered by the employer.

About the role

As a Care Assistant you will be:

• Delivering quality personal care to each of our residents, supporting them with daily activities such as washing, dressing, eating and maintaining personal hygiene.

• Understanding our resident’s communication needs and adapting your communication Support to the individuals and their families, offer confidence and reassurance.

• As team player who works well with others, a natural easy communicator, patient and understanding with the flexibility to adapt to a changing environment.

• Good observation skills, a sense of humour and a positive outlook.

• You may have no experience as a Care Assistant so we offer full training and development – you may have worked in a retail, supermarket, customer service, warehouse or other people focused environments or just returning to work

The working shift patterns on a rota over seven days:

8.00am - 8.00pm

8.00am - 2.00pm

2.00pm - 8.00pm

8.00pm - 8.00am
