As a Care Assistant, your focus will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents. Other responsibilities will include assisting residents with personal hygiene, recognizing and understanding clinical risk areas, acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, and practicing safe systems of work.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care ensuring independence, dignity, and respect.
• Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, falls, and infections, and escalating risks promptly.
• Acting courteously towards residents and visitors, respecting their dignity and individuality.
• Practicing safe systems of work across tasks.
