Job summary

Avera at Home Pierre is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to provide personal care for elderly, convalescent, or disabled patients in home or facility settings. You will assist with activities of daily living, housekeeping, meals, and transportation as needed, following a nurse-driven plan of care.

The role requires CNA certification and a valid driver's license, and offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus for eligible hires.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification and valid driver\'s license upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living.
• Provide personal care as directed by the nurse.
• Perform housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and shopping as needed.
• Assist with social activities as prescribed by the plan of care.
• Maintain timely documentation.
• Report changes in patient status to supervisor.
• Use equipment and supplies safely and efficiently.
