Care Assistant

Location: Leominster Care Home, 44 Bargates, Leominster, HR6 8EY

Salary: £13.10 - £14.10 per hour depending on experience

Contract: Permanent

Shift pattern: 8:00 am–8:00 pm or 8:00 pm–8:00 am; must be flexible to cover both day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with a high standard of clinical, social and emotional care and recognise and meet their specific needs.
• Support residents with a wide range of differing requirements, from companionship to personal care.
• Be part of a team supporting the nurse or senior care assistant in monitoring residents and reporting changes.
• Communicate with residents’ families, friends and other healthcare professionals.
