Job summary

CardVault by Tom Brady is seeking a Retail Associate to join our in-store team. You will welcome customers, assess their needs, and guide them to the best products, while handling cash and processing payments.

You will work to meet sales goals and promote promotions in a fast-paced retail environment. Role requires a friendly demeanor, ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff, and comfort with weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Knowledge or passion for trading cards.
• At least 1 year retail, trading, or sports-industry experience.
• Good communication and guest service skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers as they enter the store.
• Assess needs and suggest solutions; upsell when appropriate.
• Handle transactions at cash register and process payments.
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock shelves throughout the day.

Requirements

This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:

• A general comprehensive knowledge of and/or passion for trading cards
• Minimum of one-year of relevant retail, trading or sports industry-related experience required
• High school Diploma/GED
• Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal and ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members and management
• Must have the ability to meet or exceed sales, guest service standards
• Must be comfortable working and speaking with the public
• Must have basic computer skills
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and holidays
• Ability to maneuver around sales floor, stock room, and ability lift/carry up to 30 lbs
• Clear understanding of retail metrics including key performance indicators necessary to drive sales

• Non-typical office hours will be customary for this part-time position including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Three days of availability to work are required and Sunday availability is a must
