UNC Health in Raleigh seeks a cardiovascular ultrasound technologist to perform ultrasound imaging and pre-/post-procedure patient care. You will handle room setup, equipment maintenance, and data reporting as part of the NCHV Capital Heart team.

The role supports cardiovascular diagnostics with ARDMS/CCI certification or eligibility, offering a 40-hour work week and an onsite schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Sonography or Radiology or related field within 3 months of hire.
• Completion of a 12–month ultrasound program within 3 months of hire.
• Must be ARDMS/CCI registered or registry-eligible with registration within 1 year.

Responsabilités

• Deliver pre- and post-procedure patient care, including CPR when needed.
• Ensure ultrasound equipment is calibrated and maintained daily.
• Generate ultrasound images of heart and vascular structures.
• May perform staff training and education.
• Monitor, record, and store patient data and reports; assist with data retrieval.
• Prepare procedure room and equipment for daily use and between procedures.
