Job summary

McLaren Health Care seeks an echocardiography technologist to perform physiologic monitoring and recording during echo procedures, and to assist physicians in real-time during exams.

The candidate must complete three years of supervised cardiopulmonary training and achieve RDCS or RCS certification within one year of hire or transfer, contributing to our high-quality cardiovascular care network.

Qualifications

• Three years of supervised cardiopulmonary training required.
• Must obtain RDCS or RCS certification within 1 year of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Perform physiologic monitoring and recording during echocardiogram procedures.
• Assist physicians in echocardiography procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Maintain equipment and document study results per hospital protocol.
• Collaborate with cardiology team to optimize patient care.

Responsible for all physiologic monitoring and recording, patient care and safety, and physician assistance in the performance of echocardiogram procedures.

Required:

• Possess three (3) years of supervisedcardiopulmonary training. Registered/Certified RCS or RDCS within 1 year of hire or transfer.

Preferred:

• Echocardiogram experience.
