Overview

Responsibilities
- Under direct supervision of the physician, prepares patients, assembles and operates hemodynamic and electrophysiologic equipment during interventional and diagnostic procedures.
- Continuously monitors vital signs, EKG and pressure recordings.
- Analyzes intracardiac electrogram and reports results.
- Performs direct and indirect patient care.
- Maintains appropriate documentation.
- Performs other duties as related to the daily operation of the cardiac electrophysiology laboratory.
SCHEDULE: 8:30 AM-7 PM. Days vary. Mandatory on-call requirement.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required, bachelor's degree preferred.
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) and/or RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) and/or IBHRE (International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners) certification preferred at hire or within 2 yrs of employment.
- Licensed Clinical Laboratory Technologist preferred.
- BLS & ACLS required.
