Overview

The Cardiovascular Technologist, under the direction of the physician, will operate and monitor the homodynamic equipment during the Cardiac Catheterization. Receives patients at clinic reception area.

SCHEDULE: 10:30 AM-9 PM. Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

Performs general clerical duties. The technologist will continuously monitor the vital signs of the patient during the procedure and will report any changes to the physician. The technologist will also perform other duties as related to the daily operation of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

Requirements

• A.B.S or B.A. degree in a related area and/or graduation of an accredited cardiopulmonary school.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with personnel in other departments, as well as patients in the institution.
• Previous Cardiopulmonary Lab experience is preferred but not required.
