Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Invasive Cardiovascular Technology program; or equivalent education/experience and RCIS/RCES/CEPS/RT(R)CI certification.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS obtained within three months of hire and thereafter maintained.
• Other certifications (ARRT, SCRQSA) may be required depending on role and site.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub duties and related procedures for cardiac interventions, including left heart catheterization, with minimal assistance.
• Performs scrub duties for peripheral diagnostics or interventions with limited assistance.
• Ability to scrub, gown, glove and set up back table with necessary equipment.
• Records hemodynamics for left and right heart catheterizations and documents events in the MacLab event log.
• Maintains ECG setup and rhythm monitoring; maintains basic hemodynamic setup and waveform monitoring.
