Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Grand Blanc, Michigan, seeks an Echocardiography Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging, monitor patients, and assist physicians across cardiology services.

Responsibilities include patient safety, physiologic monitoring, and collaboration with the cath/EP teams. Requires RCIS/RCES or equivalent certification within specified timeframes and a strong background in acute care settings.

Qualifications

• Three years of allied health experience in an acute care setting required.
• Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, EP, Radiology specials or Neuro interventional procedures preferred.
• RCIS or RCES certification/registration required within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform physiologic monitoring and recording during echocardiograms.
• Assist physicians and ensure patient care and safety during procedures.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
• Meet credentialing and training requirements within stated timelines.

Pay Range: $33.83 - $43.89 (based on full-time years' experience)

Position Summary:

Responsible for all physiologic monitoring and recording, patient care and safety, and physician assistance in the performance of echocardiogram procedures.

Required:

Minimum of three years of allied health experience in an acute care setting and Cardiac Cath Lab, EP, Radiology Specials, or Neuro Interventional Procedures experience required

OR

Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES).

OR

.Graduate of an accreditedprogram, and Registration as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International required within six (6) months of hire

OR

• Graduate from a non-accredited program in either electrophysiology or invasive cardiovascular technology.
• Obtain either RCIS or RCES registration within 24 months of graduation. One year of work experience is required to be eligible for the registry exam.

OR

Effective July 1, 2026 any graduate of a certificate or degree granting program or postsecondary

educational program in Respiratory Therapy, Paramedic, or Echocardiography.

• Obtain either RCIS or RCES registration within 24 months of hire or transfer to Cardiovascular Technologist Reg job classification. This is outlined in the RCIS235 pathway
• ACLS certification within six (6) months of hire.
