  • Coordinates special procedure examinations to ensure quality and continuity of patient care.
  • Assists in clinical operation of the department and supports patient care plans.
  • Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and department efficiency.

Position Summary:

Supports the Mission, Vision and Values of the Hospital. Performs a wide range of special procedures examinations and cardiac catheterizations; assists in the clinical operation of the department. Provides direct patient care to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients, while demonstrating behaviors that support McLaren Port Huron’s values.

Responsibilities:
  • Supports the mission and vision of McLaren Port Huron through behaviors that reflect and integrate our values, as evidenced by observation, peer and customer feedback.
  • Performs specific special procedures, vascular and cardiovascular procedures. Implements activities to establish and maintain quality diagnostic studies
  • Coordinates the special procedure examinations to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care
  • Contributes to the efficient operation of the department and assists implementation of patient’s plan of care
  • Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence
  • Contributes to the effective operations of the department by dependability in job performance
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Associates degree in Radiology Technology or Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography Program
  • One (1) year Vascular and Cardiac Cath lab or Special Procedures experience, preferred
  • ARRT registered
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification within one (1) year of hire
