Job summary

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, a Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic member, is seeking experienced Full-time Cardiovascular Technologists to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team. Shift: Full-time Day Shift, 10-hour shifts; occasional on-call/holidays/weekends, based on department needs.

The Cardiovascular Technologist will assist the Physician during procedures, analyze hemodynamics and EKG, remove sheaths, and use sterile technique to set up the laboratory.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; certified vascular technician program preferred.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• ARRT and/or RCIS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during cardiac cath procedures.
• Scrub into procedures.
• Perform peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Assist with pacemaker insertions.

• First assist supporting physicians at procedure table for cardiac caths diagnostic and intervention

• Ability to scrub into procedures

• Peripheral procedures diagnostic and interventions

• Pace maker insertions

Requirements

• Associates degree required. Completion of a certified vascular technician program preferred.

• AHA ACLS and BLS

• ARRT and/or RCIS required
