Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital in Florida seeks a Cardiovascular Technician to perform non-invasive and invasive procedures, including echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, catheterization, stent placement, angioplasty and pacemaker implantation. You will support patients with information, safety, and care throughout their appointments.

You will work days from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call requirements, and collaborate with nursing and medical teams to ensure accurate documentation,

Qualifications

• Cardiovascular Lab Technology Program Certificate or equivalent education.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• ACLS certification through the American Heart Association or ALS through the American Red Cross.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive and invasive cardiovascular procedures including echocardiography and catheterization.
• Assist nursing and medical staff in procedures and patient care in the Cath Lab.
• Scrub and monitor during procedures and handle pre/post-procedure care.
• Perform basic EKG interpretation and ST-segment analysis for ischemia/injury.
• Document procedures, medications, and supplies accurately.
• Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and equipment readiness.

BLS certification (AHA/Red Cross)

ACLS certification (AHA/ALS Red Cross)

Education

Cardiovascular Lab Technology Program Certificate or equivalent education deemed acceptable by RCIS and RCES credentialing body
