Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program.
• Current BCLS certification; for those hired after Aug 1, 2007, certification within one year of hire.
• One year of clinical experience in a Surgical Technologist role or training program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize the surgical suite with instruments, equipment, and supplies for safe, efficient procedures.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while protecting comfort and privacy.
• Scrub in and hand instruments, handle specimens, and anticipate team needs.
• Monitor equipment and patient status during procedures and respond quickly when needed.
• Maintain a sterile field, ensure thorough room turnover, and support a collaborative team.
