Job summary

St. David’s Medical Center in Austin, part of St. David’s HealthCare, seeks a Certified Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist. You will join a highly skilled team supporting cardiac procedures with advanced equipment and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a CST with cardiovascular cases preferred.
• Experience as a CST required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of start date.
• Certifications: TS-C, ST or CST.
• Education: Associate degree or high school diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize the surgical suite with instruments, equipment, and supplies.
• Support patients with transport, positioning, prepping, and draping.
• Scrub in and assist the surgeon with instruments and specimens.
• Monitor equipment and patient status during procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and ensure efficient room turnover.

CST experience (cardiovascular)

CST certification

BLS within 30 days
