Job summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking a Certified Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist to join our cardiac surgery team. You’ll work with advanced equipment within a large health system, enjoying predictable scheduling as well as growth opportunities within HCA Healthcare.

Responsibilities include preparing the surgical suite, scrubbing in, handing instruments, and maintaining a sterile environment while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Certified Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist required.
• BLS required within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize the surgical suite with instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Assist patients with transport, positioning, prepping and draping while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Scrub in and assist the surgeon, provide instruments, handle specimens, and anticipate team needs.
• Monitor equipment and patient status during procedures and maintain sterile field.
