Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or currently enrolled in the Henry Ford Health Early College Program with two clinical rotations.
• Enrolled in an accredited nursing program with completion of two clinical rotations, one of which must be Med/Surg in an acute care setting.
• Current Health Care Provider Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing patient care duties under RN supervision.
• Provide input to help RNs plan and implement patient care.
• Respond to emergent situations according to established procedures.
• Participate in continuing education to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
• Maintain active enrollment in a nursing program and provide academic progress updates to your Nurse Manager.
