Job summary

Memorial Hospital - Chattanooga is seeking a Cardiovascular Surgical First Assistant to support the surgeon during the intra-operative phase and contribute to high-quality patient care with the surgical team throughout preop and immediate postoperative phases.

The role requires a Certified Surgical Assistant or health-related degree with five years of first assisting experience, CSTFA National Certification, and AHA BCLS.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

The Cardiovascular Surgical First Assistant is responsible for assisting the physician throughout the intra-operative phase, as well as contributing to the delivery of quality patient care by working with other surgical team members during the preoperative and immediate postoperative phases.

Pay Range

$35.53 - $52.85 /hour
