Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Germantown Hospital in Germantown, TN seeks a Physician Surgeon to provide comprehensive medical services in the physician practice and hospital setting. You will work with nursing staff and physicians to ensure patient safety and high-quality care, in alignment with MLH Mission, Vision and Values.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, ordering and interpreting tests, coordinating with care teams, and maintaining timely documentation while upholding infection control

Qualifications

• MD/DO Medicine required.
• Tennessee license to practice preferred/eligible.
• Board certification in medical specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides and manages direct patient care, including examinations and assessments.
• Prescribes medications and treatment regimens as appropriate.
• Refers patients to specialists and support services as needed.
• Maintains accurate documentation within 3 days of visit or discharge.
• Coordinates with nursing staff and other healthcare providers to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Maintains productivity and supports hospital and practice operations.
