Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking an experienced RN to join two 24-bed Cardiovascular Stepdown Units caring for post-operative open heart and complex cardiac patients transitioning from the ICU. Staff gain advanced cardiovascular skills in LVAD care and related therapies.

The caregiver will rotate 7:00AM–7:30PM or 7:00PM–7:30AM, provide direct nursing care, monitor and update care plans, administer meds, coordinate discharges, and educate patients and families.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Diploma/ADN/BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• BLS certification by AHA or Red Cross required.
• One year of acute care RN experience or licensed military RN experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
