Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care to patients and families along the health-illness continuum in the Cardiovascular Unit.

Under the supervision of the health care team, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care, upholding high reliability standards and quality improvement initiatives in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• RN – Registered Nurse with Ohio licensure.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• CPR – Cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis: conducts initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning: documents planned interventions to meet patient needs.
• Implementation/Evaluation: evaluates responses and revises care plans with the team.
• Leadership: participates in process improvement for quality and safety.
• Operations: supports daily unit operations and patient flow.
